In creating these designs, I drew inspiration from the energy and vibrancy of extreme sports, channeling it into every element, from typography to image selection. My design philosophy centers on the interplay of visual impact and functional clarity, ensuring each piece not only catches the eye but also communicates effectively. Through a combination of technical skill with the pen and gradient tools, and a nuanced understanding of blending and masking, I create content that stands out in the fast-paced digital landscape.
Streamlined Branding
For the Cincinnati Zoo's rebranding, I embraced the challenge of creating a cohesive design language across multiple digital assets. The new logo, attraction icons, and event letterhead maintain a clean and reproducible aesthetic, crafted predominantly with vector tools for precision and scalability. While my designs often favor a minimalist black and white palette for its classic appeal, I recognize the potential of integrating more color to enhance the family-friendly and vibrant atmosphere of the zoo. This project reflects my commitment to simplicity in design, ensuring clear and effective communication for diverse applications.
DESIGN WITH PURPOSE
Crafting this textbook cover, I drew from the vibrant stained glass of Toluca, Mexico, and the timeless Vitruvian Man, blending cultural roots with a modern design ethos. I focused on clean lines, harmonious gradients, and legible typography to update the classic textbook aesthetic. My design process is adaptive and detail-oriented, evident in the cover's visual balance and thoughtful color choices.
